The hotel showcases beautifully restored architecture that creates an authentic atmosphere full of charm. The rooftop dining area offers refreshing views, though the menu could use some improvement.
The dining experience often falls short, with limited vegetarian options during the buffet and a lack of a la carte choices. The new block rooms are cramped, reminiscent of a budget hotel, while cleanliness issues like dirty floors and neglected maintenance were evident in the common areas and bathrooms.

6/10
They welcomed us with this nice foot massage, but honestly, the food was all over the place. The vegetarian meals? Super spicy and just didn't hit right for my husband. The room was cozy enough, but that shower floor? Slippery like ice! The vibe was kinda rustic, but could use some sprucin’ up.

The daily thalis and buffet breakfast were incredible, absolutely bursting with flavors! You can unwind with a soothing full body massage or enjoy some private time in the garden area. My only tiny hiccup was that the room's hot water supply wasn't the best, but it didn’t spoil the experience at all. 🌟

The Millennium Deluxe room was pretty nice, like a cozy home away from home. There was ample space, and it had a great traditional vibe which I loved. The bathroom was decent, but a bit dim and the shower floor felt slippery. Overall, the room felt calm and relaxing, making it a great spot to unwind after exploring Thanjavur.

Staying here with friends was fantastic! We loved the traditional Carnatic music concert and enjoyed unwinding at the Soukyam spa. The cultural programs are enjoyable, and the local menu with Western touches was delightful. Everyone was friendly, and we felt immersed in the local culture while enjoying great hospitality and a unique place to relax.
However, we had an issue with our room. It was quite small, and the view was disappointing, overlooking a tin roof, which dampened the ambiance.
